Pelvic Health Rehabilitation
Overview
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of conditions that involve the muscles, fascia, ligaments and tissue including the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor has an important role in the following:
– Support of the pelvic organs that is the bladder, bowels and uterus (in women)
– Bowel and Bladder control in maintaining continence
– Sexual function including orgasm
– Plays a part of the core unit in providing stability in the lumbar pelvic region

Stress incontinence
