Inner Active Pelvic Health and physiotherapy, located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, is dedicated to helping men, women and children get back to doing the things they love. Our unique, comprehensive services in pelvic health range from individualised treatments, group exercise classes to home visits and outreach events, creating an exciting and ever-changing environment.
We are supported by a strong referral network and are commitment to providing holistic care to every individual who seek our services. Our current team of 16 includes, pelvic health physiotherapists, admin and support staff.
Job Description:
The Practice Manager will play a vital role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly whilst fostering a supportive, growth-oriented culture for our team and the community we serve. In this role, you will bring your expertise and energy to a balanced mix of management, sales, development and patient-facing tasks. You will be working closely with the director to better our systems, improve efficiency, implement changes, and manage client and team relationships and culture.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations , ensure clinic administration team is efficient and streamlined.
- Business Analysis and Reporting: Collaborating with the directors in routine reporting
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage, support, mentor, and lead a team of physiotherapists and administration staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and performance excellence.
- Assess and review policies and procedures in line with best practices.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver a high level of customer service and support to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Marketing and Brand Promotion: collaborate on marketing initiatives
- Perform general receptionist duties, including answering phones, managing bookings, and handling client inquiries.
- perform payroll duties including finalisation of timesheets and wages.
- collaboration with accountant and bookeeper to ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Essential Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a Practice Management role, preferably in allied health, medical or legal.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Proficient in computer and IT problem-solving, including the use of medical software programs.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Proven experience in staff management and a track record of working collaboratively within a team.
- Business Development: Experience with business development activities.
- Positive Attitude: A positive can-do attitude and an enthusiastic approach to your work
